They provided extra lighting, as well as a festive atmosphere, and looked very cute hanging above our garage door, in the vine. Paired them with other solar-powered lights both on the ground, as well as fairy string lights in our bushes. The bright pink added a great touch of color. I definitely would recommend these - they are fun and add a creative touch to your decorating. The lantern size globe is nice in the large size. I’m still on the fence about these 100-foot solar string lights and haven’t decided whether I’ll keep them or return them for something different. They arrived somewhat disheveled in the box, and the wires were very tangled, which made me wonder if they may have been returned previously. I purchased them to hang around a 10x10 gazebo that I also bought from Wayfair. The lights do not come with hooks, so I had to find another way to attach them. I wasn’t confident that Command hooks would stay in place outdoors, so I ordered plastic S-hooks that can hang from the gazebo gutter. Hopefully, that will work. The Edison-style bulbs are a little larger than I anticipated. The lights come with a remote and include blinking and flickering settings, although I will probably use the steady dim setting. I put them up around my porch railing and honestly I wasn't expecting much - they are really nice with a soft not white light. Honestly I don't know how long they will last - we will see however the price point is such you could replace them each year.. Suzanne. NY. Sun May 17 2026
