This review is for the 70 inch LED touch control floor lamp. Item arrived fast and was packaged very well. It arrived in multiple pieces with easy-to-follow directions. Assembly took less than 10 minutes. The lamp is made of lightweight metal with some plastic and although it's not made extremely sturdy it will definitely offer the extra light I need to sew. It has several power choices for the light, a weighted base, and an electrical plug for power. I intentionally chose this light because I thought it would provide more light for sewing and it absolutely does! The top is bendable and adjustable enabling the light to be directed exactly where you need it. The Expo torchiere can illuminate any room with even up lighting. A beautiful frosted glass shade diffuses bright ambient light. An Adesso patented 300-watt double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150-watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. The brushed steel finish is complemented with chrome accents on a chunky pole that gives the lamp a bold presence in a room. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable LED bulbs (Do not use: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur. Bulbs are not included.

We have many of these in our house. They work very well to brighten our rooms that have not overhead lights. However, our third lamp in a row just died right after 5 years ( so all have been out of warranty and just past the 5 year mark).
