Starting with the positives, I think the fan itself looks great and seems to operate fine. The main negative I had was the assembly. Im a DIY guy and Ive done just about every type of work under my roof. This was a small challenge to assemble because the instructions were not always clear and the many many parts are not labeled. I watched a video on a different fan installation just to confirm I was doing things correctly. Another negative is that the wall switch is a bit outdated looking. And someone please tell me why a wall switch that is hardwired with electricity also needs a battery inside of it Its not a backup because it doesnt work without it. Lastly, I think the site image is misleading because it shows a very long downrod. I wanted a fan with white blades and brass body to work with Lutron Caseta in wall fan and light controls. This does come with a wall control in the box but worked without any issue with the Lutron controls. I wasn't a fan of the black blades but for less than $25 you can buy white replacement fan blades from Craftmade. I do wish they sold this fan in that configuration out of the box.. Eric. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that ours seems to have a slight wobble when running, even after installation, so it doesn’t feel perfectly balanced or leveled.
