I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. I believe it completely throws off the aesthetics of the room. I will be hiding the remote behind something because no way do I want a black remote on the wall. I wish it was white (. Laura. This was a tough review to write. First, the gold is in fact GOLD plated (meaning, this is not gold brushed). That's fine but may be jarring if you're not braced for it (there were no reviews when we purchased it). A few of the sockets broke during assembly, and taking it apart to replace them is going to be a major endeavor. Wayfair customer service was great, but apparently the manufacturer doesn't do replacement parts... Also, the instructions were quite possibly the worst I've ever seen. We purchased this chandelier fan for the upstairs loft of our luxury cabin that we’re currently building in Broken Bow, and I couldn’t be more excited to see it installed.
