Wonderful design - I love the shelves, and the shade gives lots of nice quality light. Assembly is very straightforward - the instructions explain things well, and there’s really no way to mess it up. However, the way some of the pieces fit together is just a bit off. I ordered two of these lamps, and on one the lampshade doesn’t sit straight no matter which way I turn it around and try to make it sit straight (see the close-up photo). On the other lamp, the lampshade sits perfectly (see the full-length photo) but some of the long pieces that connect between the shelves jut out a teensy bit further than they should (probably can’t tell in the photo, you have to look close to notice). Given the price point and the overall good qualities I’d still consider this a good purchase, but if you want this to look perfect this might not be the lamp for you.. Anonymous. MD. Sat Sep 12 2026

Low profile, and perfect of the space I need! This lamp will do the trick for a corner area behind my husband's desk. Easy to assemble, though the lamp shade was a little tricky to clip together. In conceiving Cortina, designer Pablo Pardo sought to create a light that would assert its presence but seamlessly complement a variety of surroundings. What he built is a stoic, sculptural luminaire that emits a seductive light through its transparent and diffused surfaces. Cortina’s monolithic form factor creates a noble light that mimics its architectural surroundings. Fluidly dimmable, the piece is comprised of a clear acrylic shade and a translucent fabric diffuser to shield the upward-facing light source.

I love everything about this beautiful light, from the three temperatures, to the design in the fabric, to the shape to the foot pedal! Assembly was an absolute breeze...it always amazes me how these Wayfair pieces come together. They start out looking nothing like the pictures and then, suddenly, there it is!! This one was especially fun to build!. Robin. Buffalo, New York. Mon Jun 29 2026
