Really nice color in the denim, white highlights the blue so it’s kind of two tone and not one color which is what I wanted. Material is real thick and they lay very flat, no upturned edges. Nice size to be able to accommodate plate, cup, silver, etc. Very happy with this purchase and price and would highly recommend.

Well there is not that much to say, because these placemats are great. Stains, just wipe away and before washing stain remover is a good idea. I have had these kind of placemats for about 20yrs., and I still have my first pair and they look pretty good! Just wash and stretch back into shape. They’re great. R. Steiner

JUST PERFECT! I will never buy another brand or style of placemat ever in my life!! These are the placemats Ive been looking for... I cannot say enough good things about these 18 inch mats ,they are exquisite!! They are even better in person than they are in the listing ,,if that was even possible! The material that they are made of allows it to lay perfectly flat.. I can set a beautiful table hours before the sitting and I have the confidence of knowing that these placemats will not lift ,even with the strongest gust of wind, these are absolutely amazing!! The size allows me to use our 12-inch dinner plates with ease, I have tried to use these gorgeous plates with other placemats but they just took over ..you could not even see the mat underneath, it was very frustrating! I liked these so much I ordered them in the gray and the ivory, the price was right and the shipping was free and lightning fast, this was just a fantastic purchase! I am fully intending on ordering every single color they offer, its so nice to be able to switch up a table so quickly and still be able to use our standard white set of dishes.. which also happened to be from Wayfair!

Great quality and easy to clean. The color is not too shiny at all as I thought it might be from some of the comments. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish it was non-slide. It doesn't slide much but it would be nice if it didn't slide at all. Overall a great product and worth the money.

I really like my new Boutis placemats. My dishes are turquoise and look great on the beige mats. These replace crocheted mats my grandmother made over 50 years ago that are starting to show wear around the edges. So you think I will have these that long. LOL. I would recommend these mats as they are made like a quilt.

I put them in the wash and they held up. I was wondering where I could buy more of them. I want to get them in different colors. They would make a great present for someone. I had similar placemats that I loved from a high-end well-known retailer famous for kitchen/cooking/dining goods and also home furnishings; a couple of them were wearing out so I wanted to replace them but they were out of stock at that retailer SO...I looked around elsewhere & long story short, I found them here, on Wayfair and much less expensive! Still I was skeptical so I just purchased one set to try them out and now I am back to buy two more sets: these placemats are of the same quality and size yet only 1/2 the price; the competitor style has a few raised/embossed designs across the body of the mat so these mats are a simpler more crisp design which I actually prefer. I haven't washed them yet but they seem to be the exact same materiel as the more expensive alternative, they are just as thick, and the stitching seems secure. I purchased in the dark blue color, which is pretty accurate to what's shown onscreen: they are a dark royal blue or navy blue that leans more toward blue than midnight. Terrific buy/highly recommend.

I love how these mats offer a basic look to my dining room, not going over the top to draw attention but more or less complimenting the room. I also enjoy the simple design on the mats to take them from being simple placements to mats that have a dash of style as well. They are also a great size to have multiple items on them (a traditional table set) at once with there being enough room to easily eat. Overall I enjoy these mats.

Love these! Pimpernel are the best! They just never get yucky enough to stop using them. I bought this set because we have actually visited all four cities what a nice reminder to encourage you at breakfast before work OR on the weekend when you are thinking Hmmm, I need a vacay! Great inspiration and they protect every kind of surface and just wipe clean.

I've had my eye on these highly rated placemats for a long while. I'm a huge fan of cork-backed placemats, but frustration of their tired designs led me to a small designer. Design was lovely, but quality poor. I'm so happy to have replaced the designer" mats with damaged by swollen bumps with these beauties from Pimpernel! Husband loves the vibrant colors of this traditional design, and the hard finish will hold up for years. High quality product!

I absolutely love Pimpernel, cork backed place mats...and as we put an old pre-revolutionary Chinese rug in our dining room, that had lots of blue and tan in it, I sprung for these placemats, in fact got 2 sets. Great price. These last for decades, as long as you don't soak in water, just wipe with a bit of water on a sponge or rag otherwise water seeps in on the edges. These are beautiful and classic looking.

The top design was perfectly centered to the top of the table. It was, however, a bit long on the sides but I do have a smaller than normal dining table so I feel it would fit great for a standard size table. Be careful of the washing instructions, as this needs to be washed on the gentle cycle in cool water and then line dried to keep the integrity of the cloth. I'm completely satisfied with the table cloth and it brings a bit more elegance to my home.

Not only does it look classy elegant and stylish with how the writing is chosen which type of cursive etc it looks old fashioned as well kind of vintage I'd love the size of them is there a lot bigger than yesterday placemats which I absolutely love as well because we also died outside on our picnic table as well as our countertop with stools & they've truly been a hit in my home with everybody that has seen them and everybody have shown off too! The 1st night we used them, we hosted my in-laws for dinner. They were taken aback by how between the artwork, the & placemats easily meshed together perfectly. I was checking out how one or 2 may look under some beautiful decor on my fireplace mantel, & must say, genius. There are limitless options of decor choice with these beautiful placements. I feel high class each time using them. They not only fit a regular sized plate, salad bowl, water glass, cocktail glass, silverware, & napkins of course! I'm now going to spread my pictures all over social media & get the word out, & hope to help people buy 100+, so far the most I've gotten on one item was 60 people family & non family whom purchased, was the Arctic blast air cooler. I have a breakfast nook as well as a dining room table. I thought it would be good to get the same placemats for both so I got the set of 12. This gave me enough for both tables and I had one left that went perfect on my coffee table. It made all my rooms cohesive and gave me one left over for mishaps. I am very pleased with the quality of the placemats and they add a look of elegance to the rooms.

I really like these placemats, I had been eyeing them for a while. They are very sturdy and well made and can be used on either side. They are ok to wipe down with water but I would dry them right after getting them wet. I really like the grey color but opted for the teak wood it goes better with brown wood furniture. If you like the look get them I’m sure you will be happy with the purchase.

These placemats are quite thick, therefore, decent quality. They wash up nicely. I didn't put them in the dryer because I was afraid of shrinkage. They took a very long time to dry just laying on a flat surface. And they do get wrinkled and edges curl a bit. I was hoping that I wouldn't need to iron but I think that will be needed if I want to use for company

It has been quite awhile since I ordered these place-mats. I wanted to be truthful in my review and I think that now I can give an honest opinion. When I was looking at buying them, I read what a good size they were. This statement is absolutely true. Nothing skimpy about them at all. I have company over quite often, and there are always compliments about how pretty the blue and white colors are on the place-mats. I have washed them a few times and never put them in the dryer. Instead, I lay them out flat to dry. I am not sure what would happen if I dried them, but don't think I will take that chance. I would purchase them again and recommend them as well.

I like the woven design which I think is pretty and has a classic rustic feel to it. Because they come in the natural color, they work perfectly with both plain and patterned dinnerware. Great for everyday use and well made. I think they are a nice and easy way to update your home decor.

I wanted new place mats because I saw some friends post the ones I originally had on social media when showing of their place setting. These exceeded my expectations. The quality is excellent and they look super expensive!! The gold color is not brassy its a soft gold that is understated elegance.

Mats are sturdy, made to withstand a lot of use. These are perfect for the farmhouse, country, industrial farmhouse, etc. decor theme. Each place mat is rolled and tied with a piece of brown jute cord. Mats measure 12" x 18" so they cover a nice area for each setting at the table. The mats are well made, sewn very well. The design is perfect in its' simplicity, along with the edging it makes these mats a great decorative set. Another great thing is that you can flip the mat to the reverse side and have a solid tan mat with the braided style edging (no rooster/hen design) so anytime you feel like you want a change you can simply just flip the mats over. It's like having 2 sets in one.
