I ordered these in cream because I have a set that I ordered last time that unfortunately had a few plates that have been chipped so I wanted to replace them like. My hope is these will hold up better. I can say they are beautiful and stackable and I love using them. They are scratch resistant but some have shown wear and tear from silverware.. Ruth. Very study stoneware plates and bowls. Simple and beautiful design that can be used for normal everyday use as well as dressed up for formal dining. The polished rims really look nice in person and dress up the dish set. Love the “lip” around the edge - allowing better management of the food on the plate from the edge.
