I love, love, love this dish set. The stoneware is high quality. The coating on them almost seems like porcelain but with the sturdy weight of stoneware. At first, I was very disappointed. Very minimal packaging meaning the dish set was not protected AT ALL!! We received 4 of these in the mail and they ended up going directly into storage. We waited 10 months before opening... our fault for not opening before. However, once we opened and discovered that there was 1 broken plate, I called customer service.
