At first, I was very disappointed. Very minimal packaging meaning the dish set was not protected AT ALL!! We received 4 of these in the mail and they ended up going directly into storage. We waited 10 months before opening... our fault for not opening before. However, once we opened and discovered that there was 1 broken plate, I called customer service. To my surprise, customer service was AMAZING. They lady I dealt with was super helpful and even replaced the 1 salad plate the came broken. I am so happy with the customer service I received. Apparently in pickup and delivery process, the box was roughly handled with the end result being the lovely, handled platter/tray, was in pieces. Very study stoneware plates and bowls. Simple and beautiful design that can be used for normal everyday use as well as dressed up for formal dining. The polished rims really look nice in person and dress up the dish set. Love the “lip” around the edge - allowing better management of the food on the plate from the edge.
