Great knife set! Really happy with the purchase. We are trying very hard not to put them in the dishwasher but occasionally one gets by us and our kids do it, however the knives have held up! The scissors are a great extra. The other thing I love not only about the knives but the block they rest in doesn’t take up much counter space and the color is beautiful. I am impressed with the look and feel of this 2 piece carving set. They are well constructed, feel heavy, but not too heavy to cut all meats from turkey to Rib-eye roasts. The set is made from German Steel that will not rust and has a full tang triple riveted construction for durability. I do recommend sharpening the knife with a sharpening steel regularly.. Richilde. We just love our new Viking 14 piece knife set. My husband didn’t know I ordered it and he really enjoyed working with the chef knife. He stated we should have got new knives years ago. We can’t believe how easy they are cutting. Hardly any effort at all. They look nice on the countertop and definitely doesn’t take up much space as our old one did! I love the scissors also!
