Use pot holders or oven mitts when handling hot cast iron. Cleaning your cast iron: Rinse your pan under warm water and gently scrape off any food remnants with a nonmetal brush or a nylon scouring pad. Thoroughly dry your cast iron and then using a paper towel, apply a light layer of oil around the entire surface of the pan. The pan should be smooth with no oil residue. The dish that goes in the oven and straight onto the table. The Alva Nori 12 x 8-Inch Enameled Cast Iron Roasting Pan holds heat the way thin metal trays cannot, so vegetables caramelise at the edges instead of steaming, proteins roast evenly, and a gratin bubbles golden right across the top rather than only in the middle. The enamel finish needs no seasoning and cleans up easily, and the dish looks like serveware because it is. Compatible with every cooktop including induction and oven safe to 500°F. No synthetic nonstick coating, and made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Napoleon sent me this item to test. I was using the chicken roaster in the first image and it was ok but it was not very sturdy on the grill. Also, there was only one beer can size that fitted in. With that holder the fat of the chicken fell on the grill during cooking and you had to watch that the chicken doesn't catch fire. The Napoleon roaster is sturdy because of the roasting pan and you can spin it around easily to cook the chicken evenly. The fat drips in the roasting pan and not on the fire so the chicken can be cooked on direct or indirect heat. It is also very easy to clean. You can fill the central container with wathever liquid you want which is a nice feature. I will always use it in the future and I'll try roasting vegetables at the same time on the pan.. Er25.
