Care and use instructions: Cooking with your cast iron: Heat slowly – Cast Iron retains heat very well, but will absorb heat slowly. Give the pan several minutes to come up to temp. Use pot holders or oven mitts when handling hot cast iron. Cleaning your cast iron: Rinse your pan under warm water and gently scrape off any food remnants with a nonmetal brush or a nylon scouring pad. Thoroughly dry your cast iron and then using a paper towel, apply a light layer of oil around the entire surface of the pan. The pan should be smooth with no oil residue. Place the oiled pan on a burner set to high heat. Once the oil is lightly smoking, turn off the heat and allow the pan to cool.

This roaster allows you to completely cook ribs in under an hour. It has an internal roasting rack that elevate ribs off the bottom of the roaster allowing them to steam in their own juices or other flavored liquids.

Perfect for doing ribs in the oven - they turn out so tender. My complaint is hotter heavy the roaster is and that it’s not easy to remove the lid (no handles) to check temp of meat - especially when it’s so hot!. Kim. Olcott, NY. Fri Feb 07 2025

The Ceramic Roasting Pan And Beer Can Chicken Roaster Set features the iconic WAVE patterned ridges and a detachable chicken holder for making beer can chicken. The nonstick glazed ceramic coating is perfect for roasting and baking everything from tasty vegetables to your favorite roast meats. Attach the roasting cylinder to infuse a roast chicken or turkey with your favorite flavored liquids like beer or juice. Cleanup is easy, everything in this set is dishwasher safe. The pan is a generous 19-inches by 10-inches and will easily hold chickens of three to six pounds.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Napoleon sent me this item to test. I was using the chicken roaster in the first image and it was ok but it was not very sturdy on the grill. Also, there was only one beer can size that fitted in. With that holder the fat of the chicken fell on the grill during cooking and you had to watch that the chicken doesn't catch fire. The Napoleon roaster is sturdy because of the roasting pan and you can spin it around easily to cook the chicken evenly. The fat drips in the roasting pan and not on the fire so the chicken can be cooked on direct or indirect heat. It is also very easy to clean. You can fill the central container with wathever liquid you want which is a nice feature. I will always use it in the future and I'll try roasting vegetables at the same time on the pan.. Er25. The dish that goes in the oven and straight onto the table. The Alva Nori 12 x 8-Inch Enameled Cast Iron Roasting Pan holds heat the way thin metal trays cannot, so vegetables caramelise at the edges instead of steaming, proteins roast evenly, and a gratin bubbles golden right across the top rather than only in the middle. Because it is cast iron, you can sear on the stovetop first and then move the whole thing into the oven without dirtying a second pan. The enamel finish needs no seasoning and cleans up easily, and the dish looks like serveware because it is. Compatible with every cooktop including induction and oven safe to 500°F. No synthetic nonstick coating, and made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead or cadmium. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.
