It is heavy enough not to move around, neat and efficient. It has a plastic insert which can be removed for cleaning. The step function with soft-close is a great feature. Open-top trashcans are designed in stainless steel to ensure easy access and are perfect for kitchens.

Perfect. Easy to keep clean, and very solid.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 02 2026

The trash can looks nice and that's all it has going for it. The sensor is not as sensitive as it should be to pickup motion and to stay open while dumping trash into it. The lid closes very shortly after you wave to open it but needs close proximity to the sensor to detect for open. There are times it would not open until you were about 2 inches from it. The lid also stayed open if your hand was in it and the sensor did not detect your movement while dumping until you waved over the sensor again. I would not recommend this trash can.. Michael. Lake Saint Louis, MO. Thu Sep 10 2026
