Compact, fits our space perfectly. It is a standard step-pedal trashcan though the lid opening mechanism is a little flimsy and the lid rocks back and forth a bit after it’s open before stabilizing, especially if you step hard on the pedal (if you step lightly and don’t open it all the way it’s smooth). Great solution, especially for limited space. I don’t have a ton of space in my kitchen for a separate trash can and recycling bin so this was a good solution. I like that this is sleek while hiding the bottles and cans. My main concern was a smaller opening for trash vs your standard can but you just have to be mindful to fold things up smaller or not try to wedge bulky things in. It’s not totally finger print resistant but the matte finish is easy to clean so not a big deal.. Abee. CT. Mon Oct 05 2026
