This is a substantial griddle with a large cooking surface and a sturdy overall design. One of the first things I noticed was how heavy it is, which gives it a solid feel but may make setup difficult for some people. The stainless steel construction looks durable, and the cooking area appears spacious enough to prepare meals for a family or a group. Because of the size and weight, I was not able to fully set it up and use it on my own, but my initial impression is that it is designed for serious outdoor cooking and offers plenty of cooking space.. Steakhouse quality steaks are just minutes away from the Gemelli gourmet steak grille. It features an infrared superheating element that reaches 1560ºF in just 5 minutes! And, instead of convection cooking which can dry out your steak, the infrared heating sears and caramelizes the steak while keeping the inside juicy. This is called the Maillard effect and is what steakhouses have been using for years! Need another reason to love the Gemelli gourmet steak grille? Its single-dial sets both the temperature and time. The included manual features a helpful guide of cooking times and temps for common foods along with 11 exclusive Gemelli recipes. The Gemelli gourmet steak grille is designed to be used indoors and requires no propane. The unit is completely electric powered and features a cool-touch exterior. The exterior housing will not heat up during use and the unit is safe to use on all counter surfaces. From perfectly seared steaks and broiled fish to delicious veggies, the Gemelli gourmet steak grille is the perfect option for anyone with a passion for food!

It is NOT SMOKELESS! This thing smokes BIG TIME! I need to put this on my stove under the vent on HIGH or my house would be FILLED WITH SMOKE! Doesn’t get a restaurant quality sear by any means BUT it does cook a steak in about 6-8 min with only about 5 min in preheat time and it is faster and easier than turning on the grill and that mess and much faster than the stove oven and heating the whole house. SO if your short on time and don’t want a mess or a hot house and you have a vent this is for you. Do NOT buy this if you don’t have a vent! ( VENT NEEDS TO BE VENTED OUT OF THE HOUSE NOT THE CHEAP VENTS THAT ARENT VENTED OUTSIDE). Robert. Bellmore, NY. Mon Oct 10 2022

This is a great little panini press. There’s a little bit of a learning curve the first time using it, but it has proved to be an awesome addition to our kitchen. Bear in mind, this press is really only good for one sandwich at a time. Heats up quickly and delivers the goods. I recommend using it on its highest setting with just a bit of oil or butter.
