The two sides of this unit can be operated independently as well, with independent on/off and temperatures. Steakhouse quality steaks are just minutes away from the Gemelli gourmet steak grille. It features an infrared superheating element that reaches 1560ºF in just 5 minutes! And, instead of convection cooking which can dry out your steak, the infrared heating sears and caramelizes the steak while keeping the inside juicy. This is called the Maillard effect and is what steakhouses have been using for years! Need another reason to love the Gemelli gourmet steak grille? Its single-dial sets both the temperature and time. The included manual features a helpful guide of cooking times and temps for common foods along with 11 exclusive Gemelli recipes. The Gemelli gourmet steak grille is designed to be used indoors and requires no propane. The unit is completely electric powered and features a cool-touch exterior. The exterior housing will not heat up during use and the unit is safe to use on all counter surfaces. From perfectly seared steaks and broiled fish to delicious veggies, the Gemelli gourmet steak grille is the perfect option for anyone with a passion for food!

It is NOT SMOKELESS! This thing smokes BIG TIME! I need to put this on my stove under the vent on HIGH or my house would be FILLED WITH SMOKE! Doesn’t get a restaurant quality sear by any means BUT it does cook a steak in about 6-8 min with only about 5 min in preheat time and it is faster and easier than turning on the grill and that mess and much faster than the stove oven and heating the whole house. SO if your short on time and don’t want a mess or a hot house and you have a vent this is for you. Do NOT buy this if you don’t have a vent! ( VENT NEEDS TO BE VENTED OUT OF THE HOUSE NOT THE CHEAP VENTS THAT ARENT VENTED OUTSIDE). Robert. Bellmore, NY. Mon Oct 10 2022

An OK option for the purpose I intended, making hamburgers. It works OK with two burgers, three is possible. Heats quickly and does an acceptable job of cooking, but not as good as the George Foreman grill. Bought this as a test since the Foreman grill I had was losing its antistick coating, common for the grill at about a year, to see it the antistick was any better. Cons to this grill are the slope when cooking is too shallow to efficiently drain the grease (solved with a wooden block under the legs) and the ridges on the lower cooking plate are very deep, making it hard to cook the entire burger surface uniformly and making cleanup a hassle. Too soon to tell if it is a better buy than the Foreman product.. Alan. Iowa City, IA. Thu Dec 09 2021
