Everything has been Meraviglioso!! The plate sets match my lava stone table that I bought in Italy and had shipped to me! Color was perfect, they feel sturdy. I read a few reviews that said they had some chipping of their plates. I have had stoneware before and I feel these should not easily chip unless of course they are dropped or not handled with care. The stoneware feels sturdy and durable without being excessively heavy. The dishes stack nicely, clean easily, and have held up well in both the dishwasher and microwave so far. One of my favorite things is the finish and color variation — it gives each piece a slightly unique, artisanal look instead of looking mass-produced.
