Heavy-duty brass fastener is polished and lacquered

This is an older style of casement diecast lock painted with a bright brass finish. Used on older style wood swinging casement windows. It has three different keepers that allow for most mounting applications whether it be a swing in or swing out casement window. Installation screws are included. Besides being used on casement windows, it is often used on cupboards and cabinets for that retro look.

This operator cover is constructed from Diecast zinc. It comes finished in a white finish and features contemporary styling. This type of operator cover is designed to snap onto the worm housing of the Truth Entrygard operator.

There were no specifications with the item description so I was hoping it would be a universal fit for my vinyl double hung windows. However, it is not universal. The spacing of the screw holes are narrower than my existing window sash locks, and the back plate is too deep for my windows — this will not fit properly. I’d give 4 stars if the specifications were listed. This will probably work if you have a different window size or a wooden double hung that doesn’t have an existing lock. I wanted something with additional security. I’m keeping this in the original packaging as this will be donated since I can’t use it. The Prime-Line F 2858 Cam Action Window Lock replaces or upgrades the sash lock on single and double hung vinyl windows. This small window latch is constructed from diecast and comes finished in classic bronze. Mounting hardware included. A Phillips head screwdriver is required for installation. The window latch replacement features a cam action hook which draws the classic bronze sash lock keeper tight when locked. This is a great product! I was excited to install on bathroom window after I painted, I checked where it would go to try out the lock and Dang it! My windows aren’t level! So I’m going to have to build up one to sit even as the lock is a very secure and tight fit, I didn’t know a keyed window lock existed. Once I figure out how to build up the wood I’ll insert a finished product picture, the picture here shows defect of my frame. Also the key will not come out of lock in the open position. Gail. This is a wood window sash balance for a 6 lb. window or 12 lbs. If one is used on both sides. This sash balance style has been used by a variety of manufacturers of windows for a variety of decades.
