Nice addition and very functional… spacious drawers and a cabinet with shelves. In hindsight I would have chosen a different vanity. I allowed the “original price” to make me think this was a superior quality vanity. However, I might choose it again for one of my granddaughter’s. Great product and very sturdy for the price. Took about 5hrs to put together but I’m no handy man. 1hr of it was trying to figure out the dang cabinet hinges and then I realized I didn’t see the explanation of how the screws in the actual hinge can help adjust the hinge placement for a good fit and open/close. The one true issue I stumbled on during assembly was that none of the drawer handles lined up with the pilot holes. All seemed about a centimeter too low for the equipment to reach. Item arrived timely, packed well, and without damage. Assembly, however, was another story. The instructions are absolutely horrible and utterly useless. My husband happens to be very good with diy and assembly so he was able to put it together using the photo of what it looks like completed. So I removed a star for the poor instructions. Anyone purchasing should be aware that you’ll need to be confident in your assembly abilities or know someone who is. Other than that, I absolutely love it! It’s just the right size for my space and provides ample storage. The lights are a nice extra! The ten side drawers are narrow but deep, and they glide very smoothly. The center drawer has the glass top, making your items in there visible. I’m not sure yet whether I’ll be using that drawer for jewelry or cosmetics. The only thing it was missing was a power outlet for hair tools, etc. I simply purchased an attractive surge protector that I could leave accessible and while it does take up some of the vanity top space, you could easily get one that attaches to the side of the vanity and it would still be accessible. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the ‘crystal’ knobs and I’m still not sure and I planned to change them originally, but I may stay with them. For reference I am 5’2 and it’s a good size for me in my room I have a lot of things I’m going to fill it with and my stool is very wide so eventually I will probably opt for a less wide chair. Absolutely love this vanity. Fairly easy to put together, just takes a lot of time. The drawers are perfect sizes for my makeup. I didn’t want them too deep so I could find things easily. Beautiful vanity!!! 2 NEGATIVES: 1. the lights on the mirror aren’t very strong. Luckily where I moved it to has great natural light. 2. There are two cords for this vanity. One for the actual vanity and one for the mirror. I don’t feel like the photos accurately showed how the cord to the mirror looked. It is very visible and I feel like it should have had a slot to put the cord through the vanity. Maybe they did this so if you don’t want to use the mirror you could convert it to a desk or something but I had to wrap the cord for it to look better and prevent my cat from chewing. I didn’t lower my rating because this is One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made. It really elevates the room. I love putting on my makeup at it. Was worried about the color being too brown with my black furniture and it isn’t. It also came almost completely assembled which was shocking. Unboxing took 3 times longer than putting it together.
