Took about 4 hours to assemble. We didn’t do the rock wall or hanging rings because this beds for our toddler boys and they’re too young for those features yet. It’s super sturdy, made mostly of iron with some wood accents. Slide and rock wall are wood. It’s honestly great quality. We used “Purple” brand memory foam twin mattresses which don’t fit as well as the small futon mattresses in the product photos but they fit, just not a ton of room for tucking in sheets and comforter. Amazing bed!! Putting it together definitely requires two people but it has very straightforward instructions. At a 140lbs I was able to climb on it and the bed was extremely sturdy. The bed is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. It even came with foam extras to keep kiddos from getting bumps and lights which made a little party underneath and an app to control them!!! I looked at so many similar models since I was originally looking for a bunk bed with a slide. This one is on the smaller (shorter) side so it works better for toddlers and younger children. You could still squeeze a second mattress underneath (as pictured in some listings) but it would be too easy to bump their head. The tower doesnt come with attachments so it can be moved around or very easily knocked over if used on the slide (zip ties recommended). Kids have to be careful climbing onto the slide from the mattress (can be quite a drop depending on mattress thickness). The whole bed will rock a little from kids climbing and playing on it but sturdy enough without having to mount it to the wall. Assembly and directions could be a lot better. Our package came without instructions, which Wayfair responded to promptly by reaching out to the manufacturer and emailing instructions within 24 hours. The instructions were still not clear since parts arent labeled in some of the diagrams and some of the actual parts are numbered differently. Some parts have a velcro strip attached (for attaching the cloth tent) but arent marked in the instructions so you have to watch where you put them or else youll end up pulling apart and rebuilding the bed. There are no directions for putting on the cloth pieces but its straightforward as long as you have installed the velcro pieces correctly.. El. Wed Apr 08 2026

This was a great purchase! Not only is it well made, very sturdy and looks just like the pics, but my granddaughter loves it!! In fact she has been sleeping in her own bed since her daddy put it together for her!! That is a huge positive for this bed.
