It was not hard to install. There were a lot of parts and took several hours with 2 people, but it came together nicely. It seemed to be of good quality and offered a lot of storage options. It has lighting which makes it really cool. The lighting works with an app and has charging options in one of the shelves. It comes with a basket for the top shelve to store stuff in. It was generally easy to put together by myself (there was one section I put together upside down because it wasn't really specified in the directions). I have been very impressed with this Montessori floor bed. It is made of strong, sturdy wood, was relatively easy to construct, and has been a massive hit with my toddler. I love that it has installed bookshelves that can be used as he gets bigger. The mattress fits perfectly and allows him to climb in and out without needing assistance. The only thing that is slightly difficult is it making this bed can be hard. However, I think that any floor bed would be just as difficult. Overall, I would definitely recommend this purchase.. We love this bed. At first we had an issue( we didn’t receive directions in the box and the ones online didn’t match what was sent), I contacted customer service and they had no problem sending me a return label and sending me a replacement.
