This platform bed features a clean-lined silhouette with a classic slat-style headboard for an airy look in your space. It's crafted with a solid wood frame, providing a stable foundation for your mattress without the need for a box spring. A matching footboard completes the design, while the integrated slat kit offers consistent support. The included trundle bed easily rolls out on casters to accommodate overnight guests or sleepovers. Designed with versatility in mind, this piece fits seamlessly into a variety of decor styles. Plus, the trundle tucks away neatly when not in use to save floor space.

Needless to say we are very pleased with this order. At first we was worried his existing twin size wouldn’t fit underneath but it did!! I would say the twin is around 8in. None of the pieces came broken or missing like past reviews mentioned. My son slept in it before we could put sheets on it he also enjoyed building this simple project with his dad. They provided paper and digital instructions.. Ashley. Boston. Sun Jul 26 2026

This twin daybed features a classic panel design that anchors your space with a timeless feel. It's crafted from solid wood and comes with a slat roll foundation and a reinforced center rail to provide full support without needing a box spring. The front and rear guard rails keep toddlers secure, and you can easily remove them later to transform the frame into a standard twin bed as your child grows. The rolling trundle pulls out smoothly to create an extra sleeping spot for guests. Plus, the removable trundle serves as convenient storage space for extra blankets or clothes.

Bring timeless sophistication to your bedroom with the Florio Solid Wood Platform Bed with Footboard and Trundle. Blending classic craftsmanship with modern comfort, the Richmond features a smooth, arched headboard with Mission-inspired slats for a look that’s both warm and refined. Built from solid hardwood and veneers, this bed delivers exceptional durability and style. The trundle, neatly tucked beneath the frame, glides out easily from either side to provide extra sleeping space for guests. With a supportive slat system, the Florio is mattress-ready and does not require a box spring or foundation. Available in Espresso, White, Walnut, Grey, and Light Toffee finishes and in Twin XL, Twin, Full, Queen, and King sizes, this bed offers the perfect fit for any room.

This bed arrives in four separate packages. One of the boxes is over 80 lb and will require additional assistance to move for average homeowner. The side rails as well as footboard come fully assembled out of the box. The headboard requires the side legs to be attached but this process is very simple. The support rails for the bed are extremely flimsy and using this bed as a trundle will not allow you vertical support to stop the mattress from sagging in the middle over time. Dinged a star for that. The trundle portion comes in its own separate box of the four and requires complete assembly which is very straightforward. Two of the threaded nuts that come pre-installed were missing in the holes allowing me no way to attach screws so I had to get creative as this is something the average homeowner might struggle with. The cracked wood is my fault for not predrilling. As a bonus the side rails of the bed have the mattress supports glued prior to painting and I'm including photos of the lumps of glue which are not a big deal but nice to know that the rails are physically glued as well as screwed. The trundle face came with 2 dents but my kids will do way worse in time. I would recommend this bed as it can be used stand alone, with a trundle, with the rails lowered for easier access, and also used with an existing box spring and metal frame.. Justin. Loxahatchee.
