This bed is stunning. It’s timeless and classic. I’ve had it for several years in two different homes. The first picture was in a much larger space with the canopy. The second space was much smaller so I wasn’t able to use the canopy. I love both looks. I plan to keep this bed for many years to come.. Kerri. Houston, TX. Mon Oct 19 2026

Bought two of these—one for each of my daughters. We designed a Harry Potter “herbology” themed room and these were perfect! After adding some fairy lights and drapery sheets around the canopy it felt like a magical bed indeed! The uproar bars are hollow—so feel flimsy and would not be able to handle any significant type of weight. Amanda. Pickens, SC. Sat Oct 03 2026

A removable canopy frame and a low-post option for the footboard provide an array of personalized options. Experience a distinctive design that offers a sense of a well-traveled life.

These are old pictures so don’t mind the mess, but I love that the bed looks black from afar but up close you can see the weathered espresso brown. Beware of the height though! I had to leave one of the top posts off in order to be able to still use the ceiling fan. I don’t mind that though. Anonymous. Thu Oct 08 2026

Worked great on our daughter’s bed. Janet. Leawood, KS. Tue Oct 20 2026

This bed harmonizes traditional details with functional design to accommodate today's styles. The bed features vintage white veneers, curved panel headboard, button tufted headboard/footboard, crown, and raised scrolled work ornamental trim and hand-carved style wood drawer overlays throughout all case pieces. It will be a great addition to your home.

I saw the Welling bedroom set and I just had to have it. I have looked at sets for years, but this was the one!! It is a very detailed set with a French style front, English back and with a Bombay curved shape. It is truly a luxurious and stunning design. It is oversized furniture so it takes up a fair amount of room. The top drawer in each piece is lined with felt. It has side metal drawer glides, scrolled legs with carvings, and antique pull-ring handles. The drawers have dovetailed drawers for sturdiness. Now for the Bed…. They were out of the Welling Brand Bed so I saw that this Glendo was the same bed so I ordered it. I wanted to explain the positives of the set at the beginning of the review. This vintage bedroom set really makes a statement and this bed is the piece de resistance of the set. The bed has an arched headboard with beautiful carved wood designs around the edges. The wood is scored and rubbed to give it a distressed look. The footboard dips downward instead of arching and has the same floral carvings. On both there is beautiful button tufting with upholstery material that is an antique white color polyester blend. It is a fair amount of work to assemble the bed so you definitely need 2-3 people to get it accomplished. You will need a box spring and mattress for this set. There is an 8” clearance under the bed. The overall weight capacity is 650 lb. for the king size bed. The Headboard is 88.98” W x 89.25” L and the Footboard height is 30.24”. The overall height is 75.6” and it weighs 220 lbs. The footboard had a scrape and 2 areas lacking in paint. So Wayfair offered to replace it or give a 20% discount. They are very good with their customer service! That's why I always order from Wayfair.. Suzann. Clayton, NC. Mon Oct 18 2021

This bed has dramatic turnings on the bed making a strong design statement, capped by a collared metal canopy frame in a burnished sauternes finish. The fluid lines of the arched headboard and concave footboard lend a sense of balance to the design. The posts break to transition from high to low posts with the removable metal canopy frame.

This is so much more beautiful in person! I love it!. Tina. Fayetteville Tn. Fri May 01 2026
