It depends on the label. Some sets are marked for toddlers, and others say ages four to nine. Match the printed age range to the child. For example, a seven-year-old fits at a play vanity set only when the printed range includes that age.
Yes. The matching seat comes with the table on a vanity set. A vanity table is the desk by itself, so you add the seat separately. Kids vanity sets are the ones that already pair them. If you only need the desk, look at kids vanity tables.
No. A kids vanity is a bedroom dressing table for pretend play. A bathroom vanity is the cabinet that holds a sink. If you are outfitting a bathroom, look at bathroom vanities. The bedroom version has no sink or plumbing.
A mirror, a seat that reaches the tabletop, and a drawer or shelf for play accessories. Lights are optional, and not every set has them. Wood and plastic are both common, and the material is listed with the dimensions. Confirm that a mirror is included on the Specifications tab when pretend play depends on one.
When the tabletop is clear, a child can set a book on it, but the mirror and the child-sized seat are there for dress-up. A kids desk is the better match for homework. The vanity can still sit nearby for getting ready.
