I looked at many full bed/twin trundle beds and decided on this bed after reading many reviews and other sites with same style. This one is sturdy and not hard to put together. Unfortunately our twin mattress is an XL twin and was too large to put together the trundle. We just put the bed frame over the mattress on the floor and it works for us. The trundle can be pulled all the way out and move across the room if needed. We will save ours to use when we have to get a new twin mattress at another time.. Erinn. Meadows Place, TX. We needed something small that would fit in this bedroom but still sleep 2 people comfortably. It was exactly as pictured. We do not pull it all the way out and use the spring system to bring the mattress up. It sleeps fine just being pulled out. We used two standard twin mattresses. . Brittany. NC. Sun Jun 21 2020

It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026
