The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it. The frame is very sturdy, and leaves ample room under the bed for storage. I bought this because I really liked the simple design but I should have paid more attention to the dimensions instead of looking at the picture. They have to be using lumbar pillows in this picture because the frame is only 37 inches (a yard stick 1 inch) from the ground. That’s including the legs and “ample room for storage”. I have large decorative pillows that completely cover the frame. Even regular bed pillows will cover a frame if they’re leaned against it.
