This turned out to be a great purchase and exactly what I needed. It was quick and easy to assemble, and the mattress is truly 5 inches with good-quality memory foam-my Pops says it’s very comfortable and said he doesn't need a mattress topper. It’s easy to open at night and store in the morning, rolls smoothly without scratching my floors, feels sturdy with the wheels locked, and fits perfectly in my small living room closet. I’m very pleased with the quality. For extra peace of mind, I did purchase a thin rubber floor runner to roll it on when moving it to and from the closet, and I added quarter-size felt pads under the legs for additional floor protection. This is a decent fold-a-way bed but the bars can be felt if you weigh 225. My nephew tried it out first and said he felt the bars all night on his back. I bought a four inch mattress topper and it slept much better. The mattress is just too thin for a heavier person. Otherwise, the craftsmanship of the bed is quality. This rollaway bed is sturdy, mattress quality is good for a rollaway and metal frame is as described. But beware, do not order this bed if the delivery time matters to you. We ordered the bed May 16 because of the estimated delivery date of May 20th (see photo). It was shipped May 18th and then Fed Ex took forever to deliver this bed, it spent days sitting without moving, it was shipped from Delta BC across to Winnipeg MB, then back again to SK. Fed Ex sent false emails of delivery by the end of the day on May 30. In the end it never arrived until June 1st. It would be more honest to state that it will take Fed Ex OVER two weeks to deliver this bed.
