I ordered this sofa to replace a couch that is in a seating area that is fully open to my living room. So, I needed it to match and compliment the tufted linen deconstructed theme I currently have going on. I saw this and thought it would match and add another modern yet classic twist. The sofa arrived within days and I was initially disheartened when the box arrived with two big punctures in it. I was relieved to find no damage as the pieces were packed very well. Assembly was a tad frustrating. The sides, back and front were easy to put together. However, there is a long panel/plank that forms the foundation of where the seat is formed and cushions sit. To attach, there are screws affixed on the back and sides of the couch and metal plates with slots on the panel itself that slip over those screws. Pretty frustrating to try to line up and tighten the screws. Definitely need two people. Otherwise, once assembled this sofa was remarkably sturdy and comfortable to sit on. Just got this cute Couch assembled. I ordered this Rolled Arm Sofa with Nailhead trim for My Husband to use in His TV Room. Assembly was pretty simple. Illustrated instructions made it very easy. Once completed the Sofa seems to be pretty sturdy and solid. I do wish it had more Grey tone in the upholstery. It appears to give off more of a Tanish/ light beige Tweed color look. But the color will work in the room it's in. And I normally do not complain unless I can make it work. But I'll say the Back Cushions definitely need much more stuffing. They are pretty flat for such long seat cushions that comes with this couch. Also, the three seat cushions do stick out beyond the couch frame more than I've ever seen on a Couch. As you can see in the pictures. But again, as for the back cushions I will purchase some good firm foam pieces to add to them . The seat cushions are actually very very well stuffed and smooth. Which I love. Very comphy too sit on them. Not too hard yet not too soft. And in person the over length of the couch cushions in the front aren't all that noticable when walking into the room but the pictures pretty well show the over lap. I was a little hesitant when deciding to order this Couch when I read it had wooden slats which I'm not a fan of wood slats. But to my surprise the slats are very nice and thick and will hold ALOT of weight. You would not know there was wooden slats just by sitting on this couch. And they are secured in place with no way of shifting when properly installed. We do love this couch and being in the room it's in only Hubby will be sitting on it. And I can stuff the back cushions to my liking so we will be keeping it and we will enjoy having it. I strongly feel the price point it right on for what we got. It serves our need.. Debbie.
