Works well in my space. It is NOT 73". It is 68". The description needs to be revised. The sofa would have been too big. If you're a large person, the seat cushions will sink in about three inches, lowering the overall height of the seat. I do love the fact that they are very firm. It makes it easier on these old knees to get up! The throw pillows are HUGE! I won't be using them as they take up the entire seating area. The reversible cushions are a definite plus. I've had this in my office for the past four years. It has held up surprisingly well. People visiting my office for the first time constantly tell me how pretty and comfortable this loveseat is. It has a nice, cozy vibe. It does look a little sloppier with age - the fabric starts to wrinkle and slip a bit - but it just gets more and more cozy. There was, however, a pet-related incident a while back in which I discovered that this sofa is, unfortunately, very difficult to clean. This is a lovely mid century modern couch. It arrived very well packaged but did have a small scuff on the back of one of the cushions. It was hard to out together with two people. The directions say to put the arm on, then the back but either way was hard. Once they were together it slides together to lock and the feet go on.
