A lot of the reviews said they were hard to assemble so I paid for the Wayfair assembler and they came out great. We got 3 of these for our back porch and there are very comfortable. They are also pretty heavy chairs. The plastic handle on the side that you pull to recline feels cheap, but other than that they look exactly like the photos in the listing.. Laura. Sugar Land, TX. Just arrived last night. I spent the entire morning assembling these. So far, I do love them. The chairs look great but there were a few issues: We ordered these in "natural" but what we got was "teak" (more reddish and not even a choice when we ordered). We purchased these at the end of the season when stock was low, and actually like the teak, so all is well. There are several reviews about about "reasonably intelligent" people having difficulties assembling these... and you can count us as two more. The instructions are fairly straightforward but getting the first step wrong can turn the process into a HUGE headache if the left and right connectors aren't positioned correctly (you might get lucky on your first try, but we didn't, and had to take everything apart, figure out the problem, and start over). The key is to make sure the gray rubber pad on each connector ends up on the BACK of the chair rear leg. Fortunately, we were cautious after reading about frustrations in previous reviews so only had to reassemble one chair. You'll be happy with the results if you get everything in the right place. Photos are attached showing the correct placement of the connectors (we wish the instructions showed this).. Ingrid. Fort Collins, CO. Wed Oct 14 2026
