I got tired of chasing down my cheap chairs after every storm so I got these 3 years ago. They are heavy enough not to blow away but still light enough to move around. And they fold away when needed. The color is through and through and they look great after 3 years in the weather. I liked mine so much I requested another pair for Mother's day and I love them. For more comfort I paired them with the footrest/ ottoman. But you don't have to, I just prefer it. These will last for years and are worth it. Oh, and the cupholder is like icing on the cake! This chair arrived two days ago, opened up a day later and spent 1 1/2 hours assembling it (quite hot outside) and another 20 minutes finishing it this morning. The reason it took so long was because two of the large bolts were hard to seat all the way and had to be removed and reinserted with a vice grip. However, the chair is now fully assembled and seems very solid. It is obviously large and well designed for a big guy, as I am 6' 2" and weigh 230 lbs. Simply put, I feel very comfortable sitting in this chair in any of the 3 positions! My wife is now designing & making a seat cushion & headrest. This is a great Adirondack chair. The color is rich and vibrant. It really stands out in a setting of bright colors. It has a smooth textured finish vs some that have like a wood grain finish. It folds probably easier than any other Adirondack chair brand I have. Its very sturdy and well manufactured.
