These chairs are a homerun. A expensive boutique look but at an accessible price. They have a handmade (in a good way) artisan made look and feel to them. No bolts or screws are used, but dowels instead. This gives them a nice clean, and elegant look. The woven seat and back are threaded through cutout notches that also give it that artisan feel. It is very sturdy and solid. The low profile is another big plus for me as these sit outside a master bedroom patio and didnt want them to block the view. The biggest plus is they came already put together! The only thing I would possibly tweak is moving the back bar on the seat a touch further back....but other than that they are absolutely perfect and just what i was looking for. These chairs are just what I was looking for! They are good looking, solid and well made. They are quite comfortable and the pillows have a nice firmness. They do come with adjusters on the bottom of the legs. Putting them together was simple, but have to admit having a 2nd person help hold in place, while adding screws made the job go faster. Also to make it easier on yourself, follow instructions on putting the pillow covers on when taking the pillows out of the vacuum sealed packets. The pillows do expand to completely fill the covers.. Nice chairs, stylish design. We applied 3 very thin layers of Tung oil (thin layer on, immediately wipe off) over 3 days to help protect the finish. The chairs are comfortable. The sofa is less comfortable as the back is too straight. (You feel like you have to sit “at attention”.) Cushions are nice.
