I’m very impressed with this cabinet overall. Before buying it, I read most of the reviews and looked closely at the photos, and I’m glad I decided to purchase it. The first thing that stood out to me was the packaging. Everything was packed very well, and all of the cabinet pieces were organized nicely. The directions were clear, which made a big difference during assembly. That said, this is definitely a project that’s easier with two people, especially if you don’t want to spend all day putting it together. My daughter is very careful about following directions, while I tend to skip ahead and end up having to go back and redo things, but we still got it assembled successfully. This cabinet does come with a lot of pieces, but they all fit together well. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and well made, and I think it will last a long time. The quality seems good, and the way the parts fit together gives me confidence in its longevity. My only real complaint is that I wish it were taller, more like my previous cabinet. I’m 6 feet tall, so it’s not a huge issue for me personally, but I would have preferred a little more height. I also had a couple of scratched pieces, which I didn’t like, but it wasn’t enough to outweigh the positives. Shipping was great as well. FedEx delivered it neatly to my doorstep, and I was surprised by how heavy the box was, which also speaks to the solid construction. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. I gave this 5 stars, but not because of ease of assembly; it is difficult and definitely requires 2 people. However, considering it's 6 sheets of tempered glass, it's not going to be easy. It did, however, go together properly. Parts were bagged and labeled well. There are some spare parts, but not many, so be careful, especially with the little teflon washers and rubber o-rings. The o-rings have to be stretched over metal things with a groove; do NOT leave off the o-rings, even though it looks like you can, because those are what the shelves rest on. Pay close attention to the instructions, except for step 6 expanded view; the side panels need to go outside the back panels; the drawing makes it look like they go inside. But once I got it all together, it looks great! Well worth the price. Overall, I like the unit. It arrived next day and the setup was pretty straightforward. I have 5 other cabinets that are similar but not identical to this one so a lot of the setup was the same. I had to makemake 2 additions to make the cabinet work for me. First, I added legs. I don’t like cabinets that drag on the floor especially when you need a place to put the power cords. Second, I added lights to the glass shelves. The way the unit works. Anything on the two glass shelves device light but if you have a lot of things on those shelves, the light doesn’t fully transmit to the wood shelves. I’ve been reading that the lights tend to die within 30-60 days so let’s see if that happens to me it I have a backup plan to add new lights o I’ll be fine if it does. Overall, a descent unit.
