I’ve only had this product for, like, half an hour, but I really like it. Seems to be good quality and sturdy. I have it on what I’d call medium pile carpet and my chair rolls fine, actually smoother than the cheap plastic thing with teeth I had before. I wish this wasn’t so pricey but I’m happy with what I got, so I can’t complain. I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. My chair glides smoothly on the carpet now, which is a big improvement from before. They also look nice and are easy to wipe clean, so maintenance has been simple. This chair mat looks crisp, clean, and clear (like glass), which is why I selected this product. It is not heavy as a glass mat would be. However, the mat does not stay adhered to the carpeted floor, even with the sticky tape that came with the mat.
