The chair mat arrived today in perfect condition and my grandson and I installed it because it’s a little bit on the heavy side about 140 pounds but we got it in place and put the little feet on the bottom of it and I’ve been sitting on my office chair for about half an hour, and I can move it very easily where when I sat on the carpet for half an hour, the office chair was about impossible to move because it had sunk down and I have not flush carpet, but I have fairly thick carpet and a fairly thick foam pad underneath so this is absolutely perfect and I give it five stars and if I had 10 stars, I’d give it 10 stars. This floor mat does its job! It works well on my hardwood floor. The bottom sticks very well and has not moved at all since I placed it down. The coloring for the pattern I chose is a bit more pre-faded than I anticipated, but I won't knock the rating for that because I didn't look at the pictures closely enough. It shipped folded up, and it has been slowly losing its folds (see second picture). I'm not sure if it will ever lay perfectly flat. It may need some ironing for that. This mat is extra thick and stays in place well. It's great for underneath my office chair since there is no way that it could clump up and get caught. It's a great size for rolling around in my chair. It is very rigid, so it was challenging getting it underneath my desk.. Karen. Boston, MA. Thu Jul 23 2026
