Love this bed! I’m very happy with the shape, fabric, and color. I specifically wanted a bed with both a footboard and a tall headboard, and this checked all the boxes for me. It feels sturdy and well made, and the white glove delivery service was excellent. One thing I’d recommend to future buyers is to pay close attention to the height measurements. The headboard is VERY tall and makes a big visual statement, which I love, but it also takes up a lot of visual space in the room. Initially, my mattress setup felt lower to the ground than expected because I forgot to account for the fact that my previous mattress and box spring had been sitting on an A-frame foundation. Because of that, there was much more headboard visible above me than I anticipated. I was able to easily fix the issue by adding a 4-inch mattress topper/pad, which made a huge difference in the proportions and overall feel. Bed is nice and heavy. Only problem was we were missing the #4 screws. Thankfully we didn't need them until close to the end of putting the bed together. While the pictures for directions to assemble the bed were mostly sufficient, I think some more clear explanation would have been helpful as well. Exceeded my expectations for the price. King size was a fairly easy assembly, 2 persons under an hr. Delivery was quick regardless of the 2 separate boxes arriving within days of each other. Making this bed is easy, our mattress is a Saatva Firm at 14”. Mattress drops nicely and fills the platform leaving a small gap to tuck sheets. Mattresses nowadays are very heavy but this bed allows picking up the corners without throwing out your back. Bed stays in place with no squeaking or cracking sounds. Ours arrived flawlessy. This bed is pretty great. Mostly solid wood, sits level and looks nice. I only have 2 complaints for why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The assembly stickers that say “this end up” were upside down which was a pain as it wasn’t noticed until after it was installed, so I had to take it back apart.
