The wok cooks very well and evenly! The handles get hot quickly so use an oven mitt or pan handler to hold on them. It is virtually non-stick if you use a little oil and get it up to the right temperature. I had just donated my porcelain coated cast iron because of its weight and arthritis in my hands and wrists, so needed a replacement. Excellent quality that you can expect from cast iron. I made a sourdough and came out great. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 are the handles.
