Make creamy oatmeal, steam fluffy rice, and simmer soups on the stovetop in this versatile pot. Because of the tall sides, this pot is ideal for baking dishes that rise. Unlike countertop rice cookers, this Petite French Oven can be transported from the stovetop to the table so you can cook and serve in the same dish. STAUB cast iron possesses exceptional heat-retention qualities, so the pot heats evenly throughout. With a heavy weight, tight-fitting lid that locks in moisture and tiny bumps on the lid interior that create a rain-forest effect evenly returning juices back onto food, you can expect flavourful, perfectly cooked food every time you use this pot. Rooted in French culinary heritage, STAUB cookware is beloved by professional and home chefs for its exquisite craftsmanship, exceptional performance, and timeless beauty. Each STAUB French oven effortlessly and elegantly transitions from the oven to the table - you can cook and serve in the same dish. Built to last a lifetime, these heirloom pieces are designed to be passed from generation to generation.

Love it, makes great rice. It takes a bit longer than my stainless steel pot, but the superior result is worth it. I had been pretty heavily dependent on glass lids to know when my liquid had reached boiling point, but with this I go by sound and so far it has worked perfectly.. Emily. US. Thu Jun 11 2026

A 5.5qt cocotte is probably the most popular size due to its versatility. Great for all your soups, stews and chili but can also hold a whole chicken and a large roast. If you only buy one cast iron pot this one will give you an exceptional cooking experience every time. Made in France, Staub cast iron is surrounded by 3 layers on enamel on the interior and 3 layers of a beautiful glaze on the exterior. No need to season these pots and they can even go in the dishwasher if necessary. Interior is slightly textured for a perfect brown or sear and easy release. Whimsical is shape, but completely functional, the pot was designed for shellfish. Includes a strainer to separate juices from the shellfish, and the lid can be used to hold empty shells. For centuries, cooks have taken advantage of the natural heat retention and redistribution properties of cast iron. Staub builds on this tradition with our enameled cast iron cookware. Black matte enamel inside and cooking surface creates a culinary advantage for better browning, braising, and roasting. Colorful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F. Chip resistant and dishwasher safe. Made in France.

It heats evenly and is so versatile for everything from searing and sautéing to braising and one-pot meals. I also love how beautiful it looks straight from the stove to the table. With a generous depth and capacity, it’s also great for bubbling casseroles and lasagna. Crafted from our legendary enameled cast iron, the excellent heat distribution creates golden brown crispy crusts and edges, while the straight sides make it easy to serve perfectly portioned slices. Durable and easy to clean, the interior surface is finished with a black satin enamel that eliminates the need for the traditional seasoning and maintenance of raw cast iron. The enamel develops a natural patina over time making it virtually nonstick and easier to maintain and clean.

It’s beautiful and so far my skillet meals have cooked perfectly crispy meats and evenly cooked veggies.. Anonymous. Wed Aug 05 2026

The rectangular shape of this pan was inspired by the Japanese makiyakinabe pans that are used for rolled omelets called tamagoyaki. The rectangular omelet can be filled and rolled evenly and then cut into slices with an identical diameter. A similar process is used for the Korean dish gyeran-mari.Apart from these traditional uses, the STAUB Egg Roll Pan is also a great tool to bake crêpes or pancakes, leading to the same advantages of even filling and rolling – and surprising your guests with a novel form of the beloved dish. This Egg Roll Pan measures 6*8 in, resulting in an egg roll that serves at least two people for breakfast or as an addition to their bento boxes. The high sides allow for big rolls with a lot of delicious filling. The enameled cast iron of the pan distributes heat evenly, which results in consistent coloration of the omelet or pancake: golden as traditional in Japan, or a light brown like a Breton galette.

Love it! Perfect to make small steak bites on the grill and other apps and various uses!. Jeremy. US. Sun Sep 13 2026

Due to the superior construction of the Staub cocotte lids, less humidity can escape during the cooking process. 10% more moisture is retained inside the Staub cocotte after 55 minutes cooking time than in products from competitors. The self basting system consisting of distributed spikes over the whole inside flat lid ensures a continuous rainfall effect over the food inside the cocotte. The Staub self basting system in the lid is 9 times more effective than conventional lids.
