I absolutely love this pedestal table, and I get so many comments on the uniqueness of it. The only problem is that it came spray painted silver and I wanted it black. But I made that happen with a can of spray paint and distressed it with metallic bronze. I also wanted to "warm" up the look to this industrial piece to match the other industrial style pieces that I have, so I took some pine shiplap that I stained brown and fastened it to the top.. Absolutely Stunning! The 62 lb weight is a must for the windy days. The size is perfect and the corners are a plus as they are not standard sharp corners. I assembled the table on my own, though it's recommended to use two people. I actually bought another one in a different top style. Product comes with an L wrench, though you will also need a Phillips screwdriver and a simple socket wrench to tighten nuts and bolts. Yes it is pricey, though so well worth the money.. Anonymous. This Adjustable Dining Table highlights reclaimed materials and industrial design. The adjustable dining table features a reclaimed frame and panel construction, a teak square tabletop, and reclaimed industrial cast iron parts for the impressive base. The teak tabletop is treated with a hand-applied lacquer for durability and to enhance the unique characteristics of each plank of wood. The industrial base includes a recycled cast iron crank mechanism to increase the table height. The table surface is hand-sanded to create a smoother surface, however, due to the nature of the reclaimed material, there may be some variations in texture. This table is the perfect spot for a casual dinner or game night.
