Overall this seems like a good chair for the price. The footrest stores under the seat when not in use, and the chair back can be reclined to 3 different positions. The chair itself does NOT fold for storage. The "gray" chair is not really gray. It is a medium brown with a slightly gray-green cast to the stain. It is quite a bit darker in life than it appears on my screen. Assembly was smooth. It took me about 30-45 minutes, working alone. There is only one step where a second person would have been helpful (attaching the seat back to the seat base); I was able to compensate by propping the back up using one of the not-yet-attached armrests. I bought two chairs. One of them was an open box item. There were some slight differences in in pieces affecting assembly. One chair had pilot holes for the screws and another did not. One came with the legs for the footrest part already attached; the other required that I attach it. The footrest legs of one fold up tightly; the other folds up loosely.
