This was a nice replacement for the original builder grade light we had, it comes with cord attached to utilize as desk lamp but easy to remove and wire to the wall if you have experience. This is just what I needed for my new shed! The cage protects my bulb in case I bang it while moving stuff around, and the on/off switch is far enough from the bulb to be in the right place after the light is mounted above the door. The price was good and I'm happy with the purchase. I took away one star because the block of wood at the back is too short to mount the light easily. I just took my drill with a driver and two wood screws out to the shed, then had to go back for an extension, because you can't screw straight into the screw head due to the cord, other wood mount piece, and ceiling framing in the shed are in the way.
