Great sconce! I hate using the overhead lights in my kitchen, and my kitchen doesn’t have windows, so it gets pretty dark at night even with the light it gets from the lamps in my living room. The hanging holes are not really level as we marked the wall distance between the two holes with painters tape and then put the tape on the wall with a level.... once hung it was not completely level! My only comment, I received installation instructions for a hard wire by electrician. This sconce is intended to be a plug in, I didn't receive the instructions for that type of install. I love my new Sconce! I looked over several sites for a swing arm that would offer plug-in capability for using on my antique desk. This is my bedside tablenightstand that does not offer space for a standard lamp. I like that I can easily reach it from my bed allowing me to move it to where I need the light. Its sturdy construction and finish is perfect. I will be getting a brass cord cover but the cord is black cloth covered and looks high-end so it’s really not needed. These turned out to be exactly what we were looking for to replace our bedside lamps, we did have our electrician professionally install and put in a switch next to the bed on each side, super convenient!
