This chandelier has a beautiful design and definitely makes a strong visual statement once installed. The overall look is elegant, and the alabaster gives it a high end feel that really elevates the space. That said, assembly was more tedious than expected. Several of the alabaster pieces don’t fully tighten, leaving them slightly loose, and a few won’t hang perfectly straight no matter how much you adjust them. It seems like some of the drilled holes may be slightly off, which affects the final design and makes it look a little cheap. I also wish the electrical cord were less visible. A better design would either conceal it more effectively or provide a way to secure it neatly along the suspension rods. Given the price point, I expected better overall quality. While it looks great once up, there are some frustrating details that take away from the experience. If I had time I would return it for something different. One important note: this chandelier is very heavy. Make sure to install it into a proper support beam! Drywall alone will not safely support it and it definitely requires two people to install. Overall, this is a beautifully designed light. The first light we received had to be replaced due to the top tier not having threaded screw holes. The replacement took me about 3 hours to install. I would budget at least 4 hours for install as attaching the individual alabaster pieces require hand screwing. The arm, shoulder, and hand cramping were worth it because this is so beautiful.. Well, the light is beautiful. It is a nine out of 10 on the difficulty scale to put together. I ended up using very large wrenches and clamps to twist and move the bars which are steel and hard to move so that the alabaster stone pieces could be installed. I believe there was 104 screws that had to be installed and less than about 10 fit. The rest of these were all off slightly because of the smaller holes in the alabaster. It was also a problem as I screwed them in, and it would get crossfeed as you try to unthread it then the round cap on the outside of the small screw would unscrew and it became even more difficult. I think the fit finish of it is atrocious, but once I spent about 5 1/2 hours Installing the pieces, the hanging light itself is beautiful.. Jerry. Colorado. Mon May 19 2025
