The instructions were straightforward and the assembly process was mostly easy. The table feels solid, looks nice, and was a great deal. However, the two metal lifting mechanisms included with my package did not match. Only one of them lined up with the diagram on the instructions, and neither one lined up correctly with the screw holes in the table. Ultimately I used a power drill and simply screwed them in as well as I could (I did not want to deal with a back-and-forth attempt at replacements). Now the top panel does not line up completely perfectly with the corners of the table when closed, but fundamentally it works fine and rests level. The coffee table came with deep scratches on the top. I contacted customer service to have item replaced or my money refunded. I was told I could not get my money back or entire item replaced. I was offered a small discount to just keep item as is. It looks terrible. That was unacceptable. My only choice was having a replacement part sent. I reluctantly accepted as there was no other choice given to me. Was told part would be here by August 20th. Now I have received a message that it will be delayed for 10days before it is shipped to me. According to the wayfair policy, I can send it back, but at my expense. I also could return it to the nearest store that is one and a half hours from me. Completely unacceptable. I will never order from this company again.
