This is a heavy 30" coffee table. Very easy to put together. I did it by myself - maybe 20 min. tops? Wood is nice - I think acacia wood which is sturdy. If you like the style it looks very much as pictured. I have 63" between the sofa chaise ends, and could have taken a 34 or 35" round, but I didn't want to have to scoot around it every time we sat down. 30" gives a place for things. I purchased this nesting coffee table set for my living room and they ended up being exactly what I needed. They really elevate the space and give that warm, wood look without the higher price point of real wood. Even though they’re not solid wood, the finish looks great in person and doesn’t feel cheap. One of my favorite things is how lightweight they are — it makes it really easy to move them around depending on how I’m using the space.
