This table is cute. However, when I unboxed it, it already had a scratch across the top. The other issue was even though its all screwed in all the way the hydraulics seem to have issues. When opening you have to pull relatively hard as well as be careful when you close it because it drops hard. The hydraulic is also very wobbly and i cant figure out why. I absolutely love this 2-tier living room coffee table with LED lights! Other reviews said that it was too small, but I honestly was looking for a smaller coffee table so there would be room to walk around our horseshoe shaped couch. I must say the packaging of this table was probably the best packaging Ive ever seen before! Everything was wrapped in tight plastic wrap (which was a bit time-consuming to remove prior to assembly), but the purpose of that was to deliver a clean, sleek, scratch free table! It was very easy to build Im a 45 year old woman and used my husbands power drill for all the screws and it took me about 2 hours but that IS including taking all the tight plastic wrap off each piece. The directions were very self-explanatory and the overall look is amazing! I love that there are so many choices with the LED lights to set your mood in the home I did wish the remote came with a battery because I didnt have one at home, but there is an option to download the app to control your light show that way, which is what I have done. I also wish there was a way to hide the cord that plugs in for the LED light strip as it runs behind the table and under my couch and has its appearance right in the middle of the walkway. I would have loved to have a little notch to push the cord back up under the table. The only small complaint Ive noticed is it does show every bit of dust and fingerprints, but if you clean it its very beautiful. The black is an elegant black and very sophisticated for my black, white, and gray living room. I really do love this table, the size is very in line with our couch as well as the space we put this in. I REALLY like this table, I have been eyeballing it for quite some time! We previously had a ractangle coffee table and I just feel like this big square style fits our space so much better, and the finish is a beautiful deep black. It's very roomy inside for storage of whatever you want or need to store inside. and the elevated desk top is an added bonus should you need it for whatever reason. the hinges all seem to work well and very sturdy. It was pretty easy to assemble with fairly easy to understand insructions and I do like that it came with black discs with a sticky back to cover any of the cam lock bolts. LOVE this table.. Beautiful Table, But They Have to Fix the Packaging I really wanted to give this coffee table a better review because it is genuinely stunning. Unfortunately, after receiving two damaged tables, I simply can’t. The first table arrived so badly damaged that there was no possible way to salvage it. Wayfair responded promptly and sent a replacement, which I really appreciated. When the second table arrived, I opened the box and was immediately relieved because I couldn’t see any obvious damage. Once I removed all of the packaging, I was even happier. This is a beautiful, substantial piece of furniture. It is heavy, sturdy, feels great to the touch, and looks even better in person. Then I opened one of the drawers. The black drawer front came completely off. Thankfully, the second table is nowhere near as damaged as the first, but after receiving two of these, it’s incredibly frustrating to have another one arrive with damage. I honestly think the problem may be the decision to ship such a large, heavy piece fully assembled. If the drawer fronts are particularly vulnerable during shipping, I would rather have the table arrive mostly assembled and attach the drawer fronts myself. At this point, I can’t even figure out how to securely reattach the one that came off. The frustrating part is that the actual table is beautiful. I love the design, the walnut and black combination, the hidden storage, and the overall quality and weight of the piece. I would happily recommend it based on appearance and design alone. But Wayfair andor the manufacturer really needs to figure out how to package and ship this table so customers can actually receive it intact.
