This table is cute. However, when I unboxed it, it already had a scratch across the top. The other issue was even though its all screwed in all the way the hydraulics seem to have issues. When opening you have to pull relatively hard as well as be careful when you close it because it drops hard. The hydraulic is also very wobbly and i cant figure out why. Overall, I’m very happy with this coffee table. Assembly was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. It looks great, feels sturdy, and the storage compartments are spacious and very functional. The lift-top feature is also a nice addition for working or eating from the couch. My only complaint is that one side of the lift-top mechanism appears to have been manufactured incorrectly. The pre-drilled holes didn’t line up properly, so I had to drill additional holes myself to secure it. As a result, the lift top sits slightly lopsided when opened. This is an update to my original review. For my first order I was sent a green top but a brown base for this table. When I tried to get a replacement, Wayfair was unable to do so and I thought I was just stuck with a mismatched table. A few weeks later Wayfair did contact me and they were able to send the correct color and now I have a matching table. Putting that ordeal aside, I am very happy with this coffee table. While it is a marble effect, it looks and feels great. Most people dont know if isnt marble until they get right up to it or touches it.
