Spent the afternoon putting the arch together yesterday. Very ornate and sturdy. I dont think it would stand up to wind and whatnot without being anchored with that being said Im going to Anchor it to our metal pipe fence gate. It takes two people to put it together and Im thinking it takes a third person to stand it all up. But I cant wait till the Roses Grow large enough to cover the trellis!. David. US. Thu Sep 03 2026

Update — Seller and manufacturer ultimately agreed to mail me a new replacement for the whole item after I agreed to mail back the original at their cost. Glad they agreed to correct the problem. New bench looks lovely. Original — Box arrived looking like it had been shipped through a war zone. All of the hardware was missing except for one nut and the wrench — fallen out of the flimsy hardware bag and annihilated box. Shows evidence of water damage with rust on parts.. Julia. This arbor is perfect. All the holes and notches were in the right places for assembly, the whole thing is square, sturdy, and level, the cedar is beautiful, the instructions were clear. I could not be happier. It took about 4 hours to assemble for two people, including digging the post holes and filling with quickset concrete. You will definitely need a second person and a ladder; it's lightweight, but too large to maneuver on your own. We used bricks to prop it up while we did the concrete and then tied a rope over the top for a few hours to counteract any wind. Worked like a charm.. Kristin. Phoenixville, PA. Thu Oct 15 2026
