I really like this garden arbor/pergola trellis. It is a pretty good size and it is reasonably stable. It is definitely darker than the photos show, more of a very dark gray. I assume it will fade some to a lighter gray, similar to what is show. FYI - you will need to pre-purchase a 4x10, to cut in half. These will be used to place in holes dug roughly 36 inches deep and set in concrete. Hopefully that saves someone else a trip. This product would easily be a 5 star product if it had been shipped in protective foam (it came cracked in 4 places) and if the pre drilled holes were actually pre drilled. It was too much of a hassle to ship back so i accepted a partial refund and kept it. That said it’s only half assembled because of the missing pre-drilled holes. Given the cracks in it I won’t be shocked if it doesn’t survive a heavy wind storm. THAT said, the product is beautiful so i only took off the 1 star even though it was tempting to take off 2 stars. The arbor is beautiful and strong. I gave it 4 stars because there is an issue. The lattice is made of very thin cedar (less than 1/4 of an inch) and it is stapled together. A few or the staples came loose during assembly and will need to be redone. I am considering adding stronger cedar boards on the sides to strengthen it. At this price point, I think the manufacturer should have used stronger wood for the lattice. There were also a few bumps and marks, but these were minor.
