Love this arbor. It’s been a reliable staple in my backyard for a few years now. It cleans up nicely after long, cold, and wet winters. Haven’t grown vines on it so I can’t speak to strengthstability. used as an entrance to large covered porch.. Gail. Wed Sep 23 2026

The packaging and quality of the cedar is very good. Like Teal, of Pomona, NY stated in their review: it’s a box of wood and bag of hardware and some very simplistic instructions. As a prolific builder and DIYfer I used my experience in assembling the arch. Fortunately, I have a pneumatic brad nailer with galvanized brads which made short time in nailing the many pieces together. I did not follow the slat spacing suggestions from the directions, rather having read the reviews, I made my own jig spacers after careful measurements. Pros: Good quality cedar; Looks excellent when completed; Assembly is straight forward once you figure out the spacing; Left unfinished the cedar will gracefully weather Cons: Directions need embellishment; Not for those wanting a quick assembly; Took over 6 hours to complete; Nails provided are not galvanized and should be of an outside product; Only 2 decorative wooden “arrows”---should be 4 for two on each side; Added longer and beefier exterior screws at the top/side joints for more strength. This arbor is well-made and took only five minutes to assemble. We love it! But beware: it does NOT come with an anchoring kit, even though the description states that it does. We’ll have to buy an earth anchor as it’s tall, narrow, and cannot support itself. I would give 5 stars if it came with the anchor kit as advertised. It is a very nice arbor with elegant, simple design. The easiest item I think we’ve ever put together.. Helga. Trabuco Canyon, CA. Wed Apr 30 2025

This arbor is exactly what I wanted for my native honeysuckle: solid wood, salt treated, not flimsy. Rounded edges, anchors included. I have very sandy soil where I put this arbor so I had to use extra anchors: 4 foot rebar pounded almost 3 feet in, and I think that'll do unless we get some serious weather. It took me several hours to put together just from having to drill the holes for the top bars and the anchors, if they had been pre-drilled this would be 5 stars.. Teresa. Middleburg, VA. 1 of 2 built! I’m disabled and I was able to build it myself. Very simple and extremely light. The hard part in my opinion was digging holes to anchor it in the ground and making sure it was level. We used a bulb digger and that helped a ton. I really like the color too.. Heather. Merrimack, NH. Sat Jun 20 2026

This arbor is made from premium quality solid wood that serves to provide it with lasting durability and excellent stability. The garden arbor from the Leisure season is brown in color. It is resistant to mildew and rot, making it well-equipped for its outdoor role.

This product would easily be a 5 star product if it had been shipped in protective foam (it came cracked in 4 places) and if the pre drilled holes were actually pre drilled. It was too much of a hassle to ship back so i accepted a partial refund and kept it. That said it’s only half assembled because of the missing pre-drilled holes. Given the cracks in it I won’t be shocked if it doesn’t survive a heavy wind storm. THAT said, the product is beautiful so i only took off the 1 star even though it was tempting to take off 2 stars. Although I loved the finished product, the arbor was difficult to put together. Instructions on assembly were not included. The pieces had small white stickers on them that were numbered, however some of the numbers were written directly on the wood. The pieces were hard to line up and we actually had to redrill some of the wholes, also some of the screws were not long enough. Marti. Northampton, PA. Wed Apr 24 2024

This bamboo arbor is made of natural bamboo and the joints are connected using bamboo dowels glued and hammered in to form a strong and long-lasting structure.

It's not as it looks on the picture. Had issues with missing hardware, some bamboo pieces are actually extra, not sure where they belong since there was no instructions for assembly. . Galina Galina Design. Ocean, NJ. Mon Aug 03 2020

Reasonably easy to assemble. A couple steps it is helpful to have a second person. Close attention to photos will assure proper assembly. A ladder is helpful to attach top screws. Wear older clothing as some stain could come off on clothes (it is mostly dry). Looks good. I found the anchors bent in when hammering them down, so I could not get them flush with the wood, which provides less stability. Overall very pleased with arbor. IMPORTANT: Use caution when ordering by size. These are normally listed by their interior walk through measurements. In my case, after speaking with the manufacturer, I ordered the 60" Arbor to get what is listed by every other seller of their product as a 48" arbor, as the 60" arbor has a 48" width inside. Wayfair lists the overall width including the overhangs and fails to list the interior width.. Snowdog2. MA. Sat Sep 16 2023

Accent your garden or backyard with this arbor! Made in the USA from vinyl, it's water-, weather-, UV-, and fade-resistant, so it doesn't require the upkeep that wood does. Plus, you can paint it if you want a different color. Simply spray it down with a garden hose if it gets dirty. Its classic design is perfect for adorning your favorite flowers and plants. Assembly is required, and stakes are included to keep it steady when installed.

The instructions were not user friendly as the measurements were off based on the cutout insertions provided. I had to make the arch narrower in order for the screws to catch on the trusses. Overall has stood up to mild window and rain but still too early if the piece will last.. Beth. Modesto, CA. Thu Oct 22 2026

This arbor was delivered on time, and looks exactly as pictured once put together. There are a few small areas where the paint is a little thin but most of my arbor will be covered with drapery so I'm not worried about the imperfections being seen. The directions could be a bit clearer but I managed just fine. Putting it together is definitely a task for 2 people! I appreciate that all of the wing nuts/bolts come already in the holes; no digging around to grab anything while trying to hold two pieces together. I must admit that I was skeptical about the quality seeing that it's so inexpensive, but I'm happy to say I'm pleasantly surprised!. Danielle. Canton, MI. Fri Sep 12 2025
