Extremely stylish, comfortable, and razor sharp right out of the box. 8-inch knife is more versatile than the 10-inch knife, and more manageable, in my humble opinion. The knives don't look quite as good quality as I was expecting, but they're fine and work well. They come with a note on each knife saying to handwash and dry immediately, so I'm a litle concerned that there will be water marks even when I do handwash and dry right away.. Jennifer. The weight of the knives is just right. They cut wonderfully. I sliced through a slightly soft tomato like it was butter. I was able to cut through homemade sourdough bread easily without any frustration. Cleaning has been a breeze with no issues. I have always hand washed my knives and let them dry and these have done great with that system. One thing I really like is that the knives are labeled.
